Veteran banners are on display throughout Collingwood Downtown honouring the brave men and women who gave everything in defence of their country.
The Veterans Banner program is a project initiated in 2018 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War. The program is supported by The Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area, in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63.

There will be Remembrance Day services in Collingwood, Thornbury, and Ravenna this year.
Thornbury: November 10 at 7 p.m.
Girl Guides will be co-hosting a candlelit vigil of remembrance at the Thornbury cenotaph at Jack Acres Park on the corner of Russell St. W and Marsh St.
Friday November 11 at 11 a.m.
Collingwood: Wreath-laying service at 11 a.m. at both the Collingwood cenotaph located the the Collingwood Museum.
Thornbury: Wreath-laying service at 11 a.m. at the Thornbury cenotaphs located at Jack Acres Park on the corner of Russell St. West and Marsh St.
