Activities at Blue Mountain

Hike N Tube

Snow tubing provides guests with a genuine downhill experience without the speed and equipment associated with skiing and snowboarding. Tubing offers old-fashioned winter fun for the entire family and gives all participants a gentle introduction to the Blue Mountain slopes. Join the thousands of other guests who have discovered the distinct joy of snow tubing in Ontario.

Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster

Glide along 1 km of track and tour the terrain, or turn it into a thrill ride at speeds up to 42 km/h. Ridge Runner is a simple and equipment free favourite among all ages. They’ll keep you on track but as with most things at Blue Mountain, you are the driver.

Mountaintop Skating
 

Sharpen your skates and cruise on Blue Mountain’s 1.1km ice skating loop while enjoying extraordinary views along the Niagara Escarpment. Ice skate rentals are available and all skill levels are welcome.

Woodview is located at the top of Blue Mountain and can be accessed via Scenic Caves Road. Winter tires are recommended.

Skating is open daily from 12-8pm. Tickets are limited, walk-up tickets only.

Highlands Nordic Day Camp

Time: Monday March 10th-Friday March 14th

Location: Highlands Nordic Centre

Join us for March Break Day Camp to enjoy the outdoors! Build shelters, learn how to cross country ski, explore winter on snowshoes, learn mapping skills, make crafts, travel through time to see how maple syrup is made. We will be either skiing or snowshoeing each day.

Ages: 4 to 8

Cost: $60 a day. Includes all applicable rental equipment.

Theatre Collingwood March Break Camp
 

Dates:   March 10th – 14th 
Times:   9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily
Location: Simcoe Street Theatre – 65 Simcoe Street, Collingwood
Cost: $250.00
Join Theatre Collingwood for our March Break Drama Camp. Where creativity grows and friendships blossom!   This camp is for ages 7-11 and is for all levels of experience. Even if you have never acted before, come out and learn a new skill.

All Around Athletics March Break Camp
 

Dates:   March 10th – 14th 
Location: 91 Sandford Fleming Dr., Collingwood 
 
Our March Break Multi Sports camp is the perfect opportunity for children in age 7 to 12 to improve their athletic ability while having a blast. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of a variety of sports, through activities that promote balance, running, jumping, catching and throwing. Our experienced coaches ensure that our young athletes have fun while learning new skills and making new friends.

Scenic Caves is full of fun and adventure during the winter months, perfect for a day with family or friends. Experience nature through unique adventures while cross country skiing, snow shoeing, walking the suspension bridge, or having fun at the children’s playground. Collingwood Outdoor Skating Rink

The outdoor skating rink in Collingwood is the perfect activity for the family! The rink is open to public skating from 10am-8pm daily. Other programs are listed on their website.
