Dog Friendly Parks
- Central Park Area Collingwood – 85 Paterson Street. A small fenced in area for dogs to run around, there is also a water pumping station.
- Moreau Park Thornbury – 76 Victoria Street S. An enclosed area for dogs to run around and play.
- Beautiful Joe’s Leash Free Park Meaford – 35 Grant Avenue. This park has 2 large fenced areas for dogs to play. There is a water tap, shade, scoop bags, and picnic tables.
- Pawplar Park – Located at the Train Trail on Poplar Side Road, this fenced-in park allows dogs to run freely without a chance of escaping the area. There’s a double gate at the entryway so you can safely bring dogs in and out, too. The park is open for use every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.
- Wasaga Beach Dog Park – 1724 Mosley Street, Wasaga Beach

- Sunset Point Beach – 79 St Lawrence Street, Collingwood
- Wasaga Beach Area 3 – Dogs are allowed within the two wooden fence lines at Beach Area 3. This is the only area at the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park where dogs can be on the beach.

Beautiful Joe Park is a peaceful and serene 8.5 acre area of parkland on the banks of Big Head River in Meaford. You will find a bronze sculpture of Beautiful Joe that was created by local Meaford resident, Gunter Neumann. The park is also home to a 9/11 Monument honouring a brave dog named Sirius, as well as a Service Dogs Monument.
